Make Valentine's Day feel thoughtful with something small and personal. Place a handwritten note beside a teacup, bring out a favorite photograph, or serve dessert on the prettiest plates you already own.
A heart-shaped dish can hold wrapped treats or a little message. A folded scarf can add color to a side table. Choose one or two details you enjoy, then leave plenty of room for the person you are celebrating.
